A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond more than one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of news eu wahlen the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
